Voices: Defining American
"Voices" is a series of community summits hosted by The 821 Project. The goal of these summits is to connect members of south Louisiana to one another and celebrate the diversity of our region. The July summit will feature an interactive dialogue session on what it means to be an American and how the complexities and diversity of the American experience cannot be simplified. We hope that by attending this summit, participants will have opportunities to develop interpersonal and intercultural skills needed to interact with people from various segments of the community. "Voices" will be hosted on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Greenwell Springs Branch Library. Registration is free for everyone! Please preregister on our website, and bring a friend! Refreshments will be provided.
